Kiene’s Fly Shop (1984) and its staff have had a long history in classic Steelhead fly fishing in the Northwest United States and British Columbia . For the past 20 years we have moved from single hand to two hand fly fishing for most of our Steelheading. Our local Spey expert Jeff Putnam has worked for many years with Simon Gawesworth which really got us going in the right direction. Today we collaborate with lots of top people in the two handed world in our efforts to be on the cutting edge. We work with Dec Hogan too having him come for two years now teaching his methods of two handed Steelheading. Mike McCune grew up at the shop some time ago and he has been putting on a Skagit demo in the Fall for us while he is visiting his parents and duck hunting locally.
